A Look Behind The Scenes

A friend recently had me and him talking about the political developments in the State of Perak. As both of us are from that beloved ‘historical state of the pewter’, as well as long time class mates from the same school, we shared with each other about our hopes and fears of what’s to come [...]

The Future of Local Councils

Reading Citizen Nades article yesterday (theSUN, 20 April 2009) – “The Unfulfilled Promises” – brought back some memories of an encounter with Teresa Kok (MP for Seputeh) when both of us appeared as a panelist at the “Straight Talk Forum” organised by Digi Communications on the 23 March 2009. What Happened To Seperation of Powers

 Speaker -v- MB
If you were to look at what just happened to the recent Federal Court decision (16 April 2009) to lift Zambry’s (current Perak MB) and six other Exco Members suspension from attending the Perak State Assembly from the eyes of a commoner, you would have thought that the current Federal Administration (ie BN) [...]

A Response To Huan Cheng Guan (II)

Give The Man A Break!

Barely 2 hours after the ‘new’ PM announced the release of 13 ISA detainees over RTM, detractors are already saying why are the prisoners still in Kamunting? I believe the process of releasing them is well on the way and the proper channel of doing it should be respected. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) [...]
